Contributors’ Guidelines

Art Suodeng Magazine welcomes all contributors! The eight sections of Art Suodeng Magazine range from 1000–3500 words. OBSERVATION is 1000–2000 words. FEATURES are 1500–3500 words

If you are interested in writing for us, please note that submissions must be original and never published before on other platforms. If you haven’t written for Art Suodeng Magazine before, please include a short biography (max. 150 words), a recent photo, and contact information. Send your submissions toabm@artbundmagazine.com, with a subject line that begins with the submission section (Observation, Special Column, Studios, etc.) and the subject. Describe your contribution in a few sentences in the body of an email, the artists and artworks (with hyperlinks), what ideas or topics you want to discuss, and the total word count. We do not accept materials by mail

We will notify writers of a decision within 2 weeks! Once accepted, we will launch the article in the appropriate section depending on the urgency and feasibility of the content and timing

Editorial Intern

Number of hires for this role: 3

Duration: 6 months and above, 3 days per week on-site

Location: Shanghai

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher; English proficiency is preferred

Majoring in literature, history, journalism, art, and design, and art-related majors are preferred

A keen interest in writing and specializing in all types of copywriting

Familiar with Chinese and foreign modern and contemporary art history is preferred

Proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign, and knowledge of design is preferred

Tasks

Ability to edit the initial text, translate into Chinese and English, and write

Be able to assist the executive editors with conducting artist interviews

Layout and design skills

Engaging in content and topic selection and planning

Content marketing and operation

Ability to communicate and work well with others
